Greetings all from Dave and Norm

Someone has created a virtual Crokinole / Pichenotte Game !

And best of all it's free.

Maybe some of you know about this already, but if not:

Simply go to : http://home.istar.ca/~gbedard/index.htm ( No longer active - sorry !)

Click on " VC Version 0.83 " the download icon, and save it wherever you save downloads.
VC stands for Virtual Crokinole

It will not put itself on the desktop or toolbar, so if you want it
accessible, you'll have to manually put it there. Just right click on the .exe file and
"Create a Shortcut" and then drag that shortcut to wherever you want to launch it
from in the future.

Precautionary Warning
I am hoping this is virus - free . My Norton Anti Virus seems to think it is virus free, but please
try this at your own risk, and don't blame me if it ends up having a virus.

Try it yourself. This is NOT a joke - I won't do that to you.
I couldn't believe it my self.....

I have only been able to make ONE twenty so far. It's a bit tricky to
make a twenty. Going into Control Panel > Mouse > and slowing your mouse down seems to help.
Garth can advise you if you email him.

FYI, Fourteen people representing YCA conducted a Carrom demo at
the WCC in Toronto. There was also a "Carrom of Canada" booth by
Paul Tereshyn and of course Wayne Kelly's. We all thought the
Carrom demo was very well received. Our teenagers Hersh Patel,
Jay Patel, and Yash Patel played in the Juniors Crokinole event and
placed 2nd, 3rd, and 5th. In the seniors, our players did above
average but did not make the playoffs.
We all enjoyed playing Crokinole / Pichenotte!
