1) Apply FORMBY’s
or
PLEDGE
in the following manner:
Spray liberally over the entire centerpiece and
vigorously buff the centerpiece
with a soft cloth until no "wet spots"
remain. Use fingertip pressure through
the cloth to buff closely around bases of
"posts". Buff the game pieces too!
2) For maximum
"puck-sliding" behavior, keep FORMBY’S readily available
at the boardside - players should apply it whenever the
board becomes "slow"
(between approximately every dozen games or so).
3) If the board has a felted
ditch, it should be cleaned with a small vacuum only.
DO NOT use upholstery cleaner or detergents. A damp
cloth may be used to
clean a non-felted ditch.
4) Store Pichenotte Game
Boards in one of the following ways:
- on a
tabletop, centerpiece up (never down), ready for play
- in its
custom carrybag, hung by its armstrap from hanger
- on a
company-approved board wall-hanging system
(contact Pichenotte Games)
- DO NOT place board
(out of carrybag) on its edge leaned against a wall for long periods of
time.
This puts all of the board’s weight on a short rail and may
damage the wood.
- KEEP your Pichenotte Board out of direct sunlight as this will damage
the lacquer
- Also keep it away from conditions of extreme hot and cold.
